I think it depends on the rest of your day. If you eat 3 eggs for breakfast and it keeps you full until lunch then I say keep it up. It's better to eat 3 eggs than to end up eating 300 calories in snacks.

@impunity keep in mind one egg is 71 calories, maybe two eggs and an extra egg white?

I know we don't count calories but everything has them and an egg has 78. A banana has 100! If you find you're not loosing it may be the eggg or it may be too maybe snack foods! Thats my problem

Are you asking because you have eaten 3 and haven't lost? Or are you pondering? It seems it should not affect weightloss if it keeps you full.

@freetown42075 pondering mainly. The pile of eggs and stuff looks huge by the time it’s ready to eat

@jalapa54 I would try it if you are hungry enough to eat all of it. If that is your only free points that you are afraid your are over eating that is a good choice! Eggs are good for you (fresh farm eggs even better)

3 eggs seems like a large breakfast to me but I don't know what you have for lunch or how long between meals. Why not try 2 eggs for a week or two and see what happens to the scale?
by (760 points)
@wealthy76579 Matney maybe I should. Trying to be good all the way around. Been bad lately. Covid stress has taken its toll

@jalapa54 so true! These are challenging and uncharted times and we're all struggling to get through them with as much mental and physical health as we can. Best wishes!

@wealthy76579 Matney I count calories as well as points three eggs is 300 cal that’s a lot
by (38.9k points)
@teraterai for me, that would be. But I tend to be hungrier in the late afternoon and save more points (and food) for then. Bur the old saying is "Eat breakfast like a King, lunch like a Princess, and supper like a Pauper" or something like that
by (760 points)
@wealthy76579 Matney I tend to want to eat like a king all the time

@teraterai not a lot for breakfast at all

I eat 3 or 4 eggs and lose. Go with 3 and if you stall with weight loss change to 2.

I would do 2 full eggs and 1 egg white or 1 full egg and 2 egg whites if you're concerned bc that's fewer calories

I had that same question for myself. When I first started WW I would have two eggs and an extra egg white . Then I worried abt wasting the yolk and gave it to the pooch. However if you feel like it's too much it can play with your mind. If it keeps u from delving into bad choices it's a good thing in my lowly opinion

Can you increase your veggies or add egg beaters and go down to 2 eggs?

Sometimes I get fearful when I ask myself to eat less. Crazy, right? Try things. Be fearless. Changes are necessary for success. Ex. I used to set my table w a 9" dinner plate. After a time I changed to a 6" dinner plate. Now I use a salad plate w a little turned up edge. In my wildness dreams did I think my small plate would be just fine. I was definitely scared to even think smaller. Just try what you are thinking & know you can always adjust to your needs.

Thank you, Mary. It took me years to get to that point. But there were also many other changes along the way. All scary. Lol

3 eggs is fine ! They are each 60 / 70 calories so that's only 200 calories. When you add healthy veggies etc It's still only a total meal of 300ish calories. Follow the program . it works

@optics. I have been realizing that the number of calories I intake is not what I am learning. It is about what amount is right for the energy I use each day. My intake might be well below what yours is because of age, energy level used through the day. WW does not say a certain amt. Is required. I have trouble figuring that out sometimes.

3 eggs daily is a tad too much. Try one egg daily or every other day.

@nipping Corcoran what do you eat for breakfast?
by (4.9k points)
@nipping Corcoran. Protein is is ideal nutrition and eggs are a complete protein. Since 3 are only 200ish calories . what are you saying ?
by (47.5k points)
@nipping Corcoran I agree

A Chobani Greek fat free yogurt and an orange or one boiled egg and an orange
