Any tips for people on Blue plan who are very active ‍♀️walking/running 15-20k steps a day on average? Do you use your Fitpoints or ignore them? Use some? As I’ve ramped up my activity I’m extra hungry during the day but I also want to continue to lose weight  Would love to hear from anyone in a similar situation who has had success! Thanks

I found that when I only use my daily points and sometimes roll over points I’m not eating enough calories. I was doing this a lot. Thought I would loss more weight that way. But found I was only losing a few 10th of a pound. When I tracked my calories I found I was only eating on average 800 calories a day. I was starving my body. I’m on blue. I try now to eat over my daily 2-3 days a week but don’t go over my daily and weekly point combined. I’m now losing 1-3 pounds a week.

If you’re hungry, eat. Running expends a lot of energy and you’ve to fuel your body.

I’m an avid runner and I switched to purple! I run between 25-40 miles a week and get anywhere between 90-150 fit points. I don’t eat them, but I’ve found the purple plan works really well for me because I’m loading up on carbs that fuel me and I’m losing weight still. So far so good! Losing the points was a little scary at first but since restaurants are still closed and I’m eating home cooked meals 99. 9% of the time, I’m making it work.

With your activity start out by using half and see if it helps with hunger. Stick with high proteins and fruits to help. Good luck.

I walk each day, i have elected to not use my fit points, i average a 1lb loss a week not using them. I do use all my weekly points, sometimes more and have still lost.

I use them. When I don't use them I lose less weight.

I’ve found if I don’t use them I don’t lose weight, and recently had my macros tracked with a calorie counter added, it seems like I wasn’t eating enough if I didn’t use more points than the amount I was given. When I asked the online coach she said to use some so you feel full and satisfied  she also said some days you might not want as many as other days. I think the key is using the extra points for good carbs and healthy fats

I don’t like feeling hungry (the belly button gnawing in my backbone” kinda feeling isn’t for me). If you are hungry - eat . make mindful, healthy choices. That said - I probably wouldn’t eat them all. Experiment and find what works for you.

I don't use mine. I've been at goal weight for 7 months and lost 38 lbs to get here. I'm on blue and never use my fitpoints but average 18k steps per day. That being said, we are all different, so what works for me might not be what's best for you.

I think everyone’s different age medical issues, 63 and diabetic I do not use them. I tried it and I would —either stay the same or gain- so it’s not for me but we’re all different

I don’t use them at all. I’m on blue as well. When I’m hungry, I try to reach for those zero point foods.

I’m curious. all of you who commented above, most didn’t mention if they were eating the weeklies or not. I had a similar question. Lost 60lbs in 2018 with less exercise and eating all FitPoints and Weeklies. Gained half back in 2019 (got mono then a foot fracture, a rough year). Now trying to lose again but without eating the Weeklies.

I’ve been on the blue plan for about six weeks, I have no idea how to use my FitPoints anyway.

@present, I just thought the same thing. I track my activities, but I don't get the "fit points ".

I don’t use my fitpoints but I would increase your protein if you’re feeling hungry.

Sooo. I have been on blue since it was implemented mostly because it was so similar to the previous plan. I am very, very active. Usually around 20k steps a day. I do not use my fit points, and rarely my weeklies (only for special occasions where I want to splurge). in saying this, I do eat lots and lots of fruits and veggies and lean zero point meats. somehow I believe not eating fit points helps compensate for all the zero point foods. it seems to work for me as it keeps me from being hungry and wanting to munch, we are all different. I have lost 202 pounds in about 20 months. and have found excitement in living actively. Good luck - you will find what balance works best for your mind and body.

If I’m really hungry and I’ve worked out, I eat. Otherwise you’ll slow your loss.

I was on blue and only eating my daily and sometimes dipping into my weeklies. I am a runner and started gaining, not losing and had so many fit points I didn’t eat. I started green today so will see how that goes as I think eating mainly zero point foods plus the points was too much?

I use some fitpoints but do best when I just dip into weeklies. I cut back a little on my exercise too. because my body was telling me to. and well I lost 4. 1lbs this week.
