Plan ahead; divide your points for the day between your meals and snacks. Fill in with zero point foods. Drink lots of water or zero point beverages.

@rubyeruch87 great idea. So i get 23. How would you divide that?
by (1.1k points)
@rubyeruch87 3 -6 pt meals and 5 points for snacks
by (4.9k points)
@lynn6418 don’t forget you have weeklys that you can divide also
by (38.9k points)
@lynn6418 Some people divide their points in quarters and use one-fourth for each meal and the final quarter for snacks. I'm hungrier later in the day and that's the meal my family eats together so I need more points for later in the day. I don't typically need a snack except in late afernoon and I save 2 points for that (which I pair with a generous amount of zero point raw veggies or fruit and a large zero point beverage)

@lynn6418 that’s great! I find having celery, carrots and hummus on the ready is a big help and Buddig ham - it’s very low in points - also Ryvita with Laughing Cow lite is another low point fav

Make sure you’re getting a good mix of protein and fiber. That always works for me but there are some days where I’m just hungry ‍♀️

Fruit- washed and ready. I have to plan the 3-5pm snack crave. Usually an apple and built bar. I try to eat a high protein breakfast around 5 or so points. Lunch is 7-10 and dinner is 10. This leaves 5-8 pts for snacks. Add fruit and veggies to EVERY meal.

@reagan Washienko i only have 23 points
by (3k points)
@lynn6418 I have 30 so it is a-lot easier. I am also on green where I get more pts. Hold lunch to 7 and drop dinner to 7. Snack s at 6-

I try to eat low points for breakfast and lunch. And have most for supper.

But I don’t usually eat all 23 of my points. I average between 10-15. I eat a lot of free food. I’m on blue

Have you decided you are actually hungry? Sometimes it is something other than hungry.

Unsweetened applesauce with cinnamon. Cut up mini bell peppers with a tiny bit of low fat veggie cream cheese. Celery with buffalo wing/hot sauce.
by (21.9k points)
@solicitous0 if you make your own applesauce it’s even better. I have a small crockpot & a couple times a week I make applesauce (my husband is diabetic so it helps him too). I just peel, core & slice into chunks, add cinnamon to taste & the house smells heavenly & it’s healthy!

I had a chicken burrito bowl (chicken, beans, corn, Rotel, taco seasoning) over romaine with cukes, peppers and tomatoes tonight. 1/4 cup of skim mozzarella on the hot food. 2 pts.

Use some of your 0 point foods. Eat enough protein to keep you feeling full longer! I find high carbs wear off faster!

I eat the Fage plain Greek yogurt with one of the many flavors of Jordan's Skinny Syrup. My fave is the Glazed Donut. And I love to make my own kale chips.
