Loving all the positive energy. Can we talk about proportions? Do you measure? Eyeball? What do you do?

I weigh and measure at home. It helps me feel like I'm doing it right for me.

This time around I’m measuring everything. That was always my weak point. Even good choices aren’t great when your portions are too big. Some times I’m disappointed how small a portion is, other times I’m pleasantly surprised.

You won’t be sorry. The scales are much more generous than the app.

Eyeball. finally broke down and bought a scale only to find out my eyeball portions were smaller than what the actual serving size was. I went back to eyeballing, since that portion size was plenty for me.

I Measure most things. Maybe not mayonnaise or low-fat spread but I do also know that I go over from time to time so trying to make allowances at the end of the day

I measure and weigh food at home almost 100%. Away from home, I eyeball it with the experience of knowing what a portion is from weighing and measuring.

Great conversation. Also good insight into maybe to why things are or aren’t progressing on your journey. What works for one doesn’t necessarily work for member. Remember it’s a journey not a sprint!

Measure, weigh, count and track nearly everything every day. If not I don’t do as well on the scale or with NSVs.

For some items like graham cracker crumbs and granola I use for topping yogurt. I put them in a clear storage jar and place measurements for points on jar and measuring spoon in jar.

I measure and weigh most everything! Eye balling it leads to under estimating the amt.
