Is anyone else allergic to artificial sweetners? I cannot eat anything with ingredients like sorbitol, etc. Can't even chew gum. If I want a yogurt, it has to have real sugar. etc I am determined to lose but I could use some suggestions. Thanks for your help.

Aspartame is POISON! Even some diabetics I know use real sugar. You just have to temperate and be really careful. All of these fake sugars are horrible. The stuff they put in sugar-free ice cream gives me the runs. Now we are even in the TMI department! It’s just not worth it to put all those chemicals in your body.

Well my thoughts on this are unless you use a stupid amount of sugary food items such as sodas, cereal, desserts or other highly sweet food items daily just use real sugar or honey instead. The real stuff points are easily doable in your daily points budget.

The unflavored/plain yogurt with real fruit is pretty tasty.

Yes. Eat the yogurt you like and figure it into your daily points. Many of us don’t care for the taste of artificial sweeteners anyway!

I can't have any artificial sweeteners either, affects my muscles. I also have no thyroid so it's a struggle but so far since June I have lost 40 lbs. Good luck.

I can’t have artificial sweeteners either. I’ve definitely learned portion control of my sweets in the past few months on WW! I do have to ignore a lot of the low-point desserts - most of those have artificial sweeteners. Baked apples, honey in my Greek yogurt, and chocolate hummus all work for me

I don’t think you can be allergic to all sweeteners. They’re all made of different things. Like I’m allergic to aspartame but not other ones like stevia. I just ordered monk fruit too - will try that one too!
