@schick79 Yeah I know but I'm really having a hard time and dont want to quit again!

I use my weeklies and lose consistently. They are part of the program so using then definitely isn't quitting, it's working the program

@schick79 so if you have 34 weeklies you're encouraged to use them? Then why do they give you a set number of points to use to begin with?

Yes you are encouraged to use your weeklies they are part of the plan, otherwise they wouldn't be there.

They are for wiggle room, so your looking at your daily goals, and the weeklies can be used on any day for days you want a little more. But it is all accounted for in your weight loss plan.

Are use at least half of my weeklies every single week and most weeks up until now I have used all of them and have still lost weight every week since I started except one and that week I went over my daily weekly and fit If you are starving then you are not really doing it correctly that will not be sustainable or allow you to stay on this lifestyle plan

Dont be disappointed. I was not touching my weeklies and not losing weight. Then a member told me to start using my weeklies and when I did, I started dropping a few pounds. So it depends on how your week is going. Dont beat yourself up and keep moving forward.

Yes you can. You should not be hungry. Make sure you are eating protein at every meal and using the 0 point foods to supplement. And drink plenty of water

@rossman perfect advice for anyone starting out

@schick79 it is what I do and it works. The only time I get hungry is if I fail to have protein with each meal. And I always have a glass of ice water next to me (in the house or in the car). I am down 37 pounds since July and 51 since May.

Yes, I was hungry all the time too & cried at night because I didn’t want to cheat first couple of weeks until a friend told me I wasn’t eating enough protein. Thank goodness I listened-rotisserie lemon pepper chicken is my go to snack!

Yes, your dailies and weeklies are both there to use. If you weren't meant to still lose weight using weeklies, you wouldn't be given them. On to being hungry - the biggest win is learning to separate actual hunger from not being constantly full of food. It is fine and normal to not have a full stomach at all times, and you will have to get used to the feeling of being neutral - not full but not hungry either. If you are actually constantly hungry then something is wrong and you will need to eat differently. I am on purple and generally have overnight oats made with yoghurt at breakfast, a banana and hot drink mid morning, soup and a sandwich at lunch, a ww bar or some porridge mid afternoon, pasta or rice with roasted veg or veggie sausages mash and gravy for dinner and if i have points left, a glass of wine or packet of crisps amd some fruit or a boiled egg or two before bed. Am i hungry? No but i often want to eat more, thats why im overweight lol

I don’t loose if I use weeklies .

Then that works for you, if you read WW philosophy, about how the plan is supposed to work. We are advised to use them, but if you feel they don't work for you that is fine too. The main issue is nutrition, as we may be eating enough to be healthy, but nutritionally are missing essential vitamins. Everyone needs fats, oils, veggies, and grains even though we may not eat many because of points. It is a delicate balance, that we all need to be aware.

The things you are using your points for might have something to do with the problem. If someone is using the (key word) majority of their points for, say, Snickers bars, pizza, chips, and alcohol, their body is not going to function as efficiently as if they used some of the points for those favorite foods but the majority for healthier items. Someone might not lose or might not lose much eating mostly those kinds of treats vs. eating food that has a greater value as healthy fuel for their bodies. Not all calories (and points) are created equal. If that is not the problem, then it couldn't help to have a conversation with the group leader or perhaps find a mentor in your group that has been very successful that you can keep an ongoing dialog with. Don't give up on yourself.

Absolutely! We live for snacking!  Don’t be afraid to use your weeklies for snacks! The Healthy Eating Zone is a range of up 10-13 points less than your daily points (depending on Plan) and up to 8 points over (by using your weeklies). This gets you the blue dot  (or green or purple) for the day in the app and is the range for optimal weight loss
