I started freestyle now blue and lost 54 lbs thought I wanted a change and went green couldn't lose a lb went back to blue and started losing again . I don't eat a lot of the zero stuff . But do your self a favor blue gives you 200 zero pt foods . And you can get carried away because people think zero means free no calories but everything has calories even fruit and veggies. So track every single thing you eat even if it 0 pts so you can later look at what you eat it keeps you on track . I am not saying giving it pts just add it as 0 And don't eat the zero stuff until you are stuffed they are still just a serving . fruit mostly is 1 cup not the whole melon or so.

I love Purple and I'm learning to have smaller portions and be satisfied more. Very little snacking, . AND I HAVE MY NIGHT TIME EATING UNDER CONTROL. Going out to dinner with friends and family is easier for me.

I have issues with portion control. Having almost all foods with some point value helps me be accountable. But that’s why there are several programs - we’re all different and what works for me might not for someone else. And vice versa. Try another color to see if it works better.

I switched from blue to purple and it's going slow but I love the plan cause oatmeal, potatoes and pasta are 0. I watch my portions.

I’m on blue. I feel like the “free” foods push me to healthier choices. I tried purple but I don’t eat a lot of the additional free foods and had a hard time adjusting down that far on points.
by (930 points)
@canty free foods would just make me eat more. Lol

I’m on green. I like that I have more points and less 0 point food. Because like the other lady said a person can get carried away with 0 points. Still taking in calories even if it says 0. I get 30 points a day. Track everything and then I stop eating.

I lost my first 31 pounds on blue. Switched to green when it was introduced in November. I was struggling on the green plan as well and decided to switch back to blue. How long have you been on green?

Blue is good. When I came back they didn’t have choices. I think Blue is Happy medium. I like 0 points for Chicken turkey burgers, eggs, etc I did not even have desire to change to confusing. I really do love WW but when they start making thing all involved to me I like to keep it simple. I did best 19 yrs ago when they had the cardboard slider to track points.

I’m on blue and love it. Zero chicken breast and turkey breast. Eggs are zero and all veggies and fruit.

I've lost about 70 lbs. on Blue. I love the freedom of it, I can eat white meat chicken, fish, shrimp and eggs (all zero points) to fill in the meals that I love that have some potatoes or bread or cheese. And I am eating healthier than I ever have. And I still eat chocolate every day. I did give up on soda, but still have an occasional adult beverage. :) It's a very liveable plan and I can go out to eat with friends and not get too far off track. And when I splurge on a lunch, I don't have to go to bed hungry - I'll eat a zero point dinner like seared fish and green beans for dinner.

I have lost 34 lbs. on blue. I too, like the freedom of it. I like the 0 pts. for eggs, fish, white meat chicken and turkey. Also, on green, with 30 pts. instead of 23, I would use the extra 7 points for sweets.

I made lifetime on blue, moved to green and struggled having too many points and found myself having too many treats - I could still get a blue dot with 34 points, so was not maintaining well. Blue is best for me.

I did purple, too many free carb foods for my body type, switched to blue, and I like it. Has some free foods, to me its a good balance, right in the middle plan.

Stayed on blue, reached goal on it over 2 years ago. Remember the saying “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it”! That’s how I feel about it. It’s not for everyone, but it works for me.

You first need to write down on paper what you have been eating on the plan. All three plans are the same. just how you count the same foods and what your own psychology (perspective) is. You have to make healthy choices on all three. Zero point foods are not zero calories.

I do blue and love it I try not to eat any carbs all day only fruit and then eat a healthy carb at dinner I’ve lost 25 lbs

by (6.3k points)
I like blue because I can take advantage of a good amount of healthy zero points foods, but still have adequate points left for healthy fats, carbs, treats, alcohol. Tracking and calculating is easier with having some lean proteins at zero points. It’s a good middle of the road option for me between structure and freedom.

I just find BLUE  more reasonable, easy to follow and the way I work it, it keeps me away from all but the most basic (now rare) carbs, other than my 3 fruits a day. For me, Carbs are a trigger. They flip a switch in my brain and REALLY bring on the cravings &. self deception (my biggest enemy)

I’ve had a hard time with blue but those were due to my choices (beer pizza and pasta) . But really trying to focus on eating the zero point foods to bank the points for my indulgences.

Blue is a perfect mix of green and purple. Not as strict as green and not as laid back as purple so I feel like I am able to hold myself accountable. Purple is great but if you struggle with bing eating or overeating it might not be the best because it can be easy to overeat 0 point foods!
by (2.1k points)
@electrokinetics That’s the perfect answer!

@moir64298 thank you! I’ve tried all 3 and purple was just not it for me

I love the purple plan! I have only been on it for 3 weeks but I love that you eat most whole foods. I eat a lot of chicken and veggies for zero points and then if I want something I can have it because I have the points.

I'm on purple and I love it. I like having the zero point options. I avoid pasta on this plan and have switched to zucchini noodles. Im trying to avoid breads and starches for the most part. Whichever plan you choose, stay with it for a few weeks. I've been on purple for 3 weeks and was thinking it wasn't working, until my last weigh in. After 3 weeks in, im down 7. 6lbs.

Love blue- I am not dieting I am making better choices. I looked at green and purple and felt I would be dieting ( not many choices for me) down 13lbs since Jan 1. Not cheating, very satisfied- I do think I need to watch the natural sugars in fruit. but I love fruit.

Do you feel you need more less regular point food and more zero point foods? Green has 30 regular points and 100 zero points. Blue has 23 points and 200 zero point foods. Purple has 16 points and 300 points foods. I am on purple. BUT YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER Zero points does not mean zero calories. You still need to mind your portions and weigh and measure. A banana is zero points but 5 bananas will get you in trouble. A couple of extra ounces or chicken or extra salad is not going to destroy anyones progress. But you do need to be mindful. I have dessert every night. I track it first and work the rest of my day around it.
