Thanks everyone! I’m going to see what we can do because we are paying $400 something every month it’s ridiculous.

I have AT&T. I have 4 lines, unlimited data, pay $180/mth (that includes 2 new iPhones). Call and ask for the loyalty department and see what they can do for you. If they know you want to cancel, they will work to keep you.

Mint. Not unlimited, but it’s cheap. I think it’s $45 a month for the 12gb plan

Keep in mind: Sprint & Tmobile just did a merger. It might be worth it to wait until that is completely rolled out as either plan prices will drop or other carriers will be offering major incentives to try and keep/acquire business.

How much are you paying for service and how much for financing the phones?

Ugh. Same situation. I have tmobile. Pay for 4 lines, use 3 ( due to divorce I kept the phones kicked him off). For me and 2 teen boys. But, every carrier tells me 3 lines would be more per month than what I have now. we dont have iphones. just android. We pay $210 per month.

I use Ting (Sprint network), unlimited talk, text, and 20gb of data for $20 a month. You can share this and they charge $6 per device additional.

Call them and tell them you’re leaving and they’ll lower your bill. I was paying $120/ month with sprint for unlimited talk/text/data, and now I pay about $60. I have the same coverage but limited data. I didn’t need it because I have WiFi at home

@kelt134 true story: I called Verizon and told them that. They offered me 2 more gigs at $10 more. which is hilarious because I don’t use the gigs I have and she literally scoffed as she offered it because she knew that ‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️

Like. I want to spend less, not more!

Cricket! They use ATT towers so you'll have the same coverage. and we have the unlimited plan and it's $90 total for 3 people I don't it's gets cheaper the more people you add. 5 max. I'm not sure what it starts at I think $45 for one line maybe we were paying $80 for 2 but added one more and now pay $90 for 3!

T mobile 5 lines unlimited everything and Netflix free. I do have autopay, and 3 of my lines use less than 2gb of data so I get a credit each month and 3 of my phones I’m paying for and I’m at 280. I have a year left and on 2 phones, and a little longer on another AND I have an extended payment plan that split an overdue balance into 8 equal payments so when those drop off my bill will be even lower.

We were paying $718 a month for 6 lines at Sprint  my husbands doing of course. Love that man! But sometimes.  We are down to $220 switching to AT&T just last week and he is also on the first responders network which is cool, we still have the 6 lines. That price is also a veterans discount. Huge difference.

First responders network?
by (3k points)
@chloroform @retinoscopy Abreu yes, it’s actually called “first net” if the network is bugged down it switches it to its own network I do not totally understand how it works.

Verizon. We have the family plan and my parents are on our plan. We've been with Verizon for almost 20 years and have stayed with them because they have great coverage in all of the places we've lived. Plus, my husband gets a military/government discount.
