I put the majority towards my debt but I did spent some on my kids, mainly "early" birthday presents (broadway tickets and concert tickets). I bought myself a book lmao

Usually I spent a little more ion myself but this is the first year my kids really wanted something lol My 12 year old has been wanting to see this Broadway play for a couple years now so I finally got them for her and then her favorite singer is coming to concert (and she has never asked for concert tickets) so I couldn't say no lol Then my 2 year old is obsessed with Blippi so I got him tickets to see Blippi live. So even though I only bought myself a book, it was worth it to see their faces when I told them we were going

oh gosh yes! Actually having a plan for this tax return has been amazing. We always did a treat your self. hubby and myself never get Christmas presents because it always went to the kids and tight on money. but this year we made a plan. I want to be debt free by Christmas this year all while planning and saving for a couple small trips. More thought out plans vs just doing. We are also trying to adjust our tax withholdings so we dont get a chunk back next year. but with kids, house, student loans its interesting. I want little but not to owe.

So far I just put money down on my car payment, repaid my mom, got my car bumper, oil change, break light fix. I’m saving for my move in for my place. I did put $1000 into my EF. Once I’m doing with getting my oil change I’m going to stuff my sinking funds and go from there.
