Have a substantial negative balance on a CC we no longer use from a large returned transaction. We use another CC for points. Does anyone know if one would earn points/cash back when using the negative balance? It's a Discover CC. Trying to decide if it's worth it to get that negative balance sent to us in a check or just use the credit as is. We want to earn points when we can(This money is already budgeted to be spent. Yay weddings. )
