Me and my husband have 7 credit cards in total I finished paying off 4 of them should I cancel them?

Me and my husband have 7 credit cards in total I finished paying off 4 of them should I cancel them? Not sure what to do now. I am trying to repair our credit to buy a house.

Watch YouTube videos on how to improve your credit score. I learned SO much. You will get a good explanation as to why you don’t cancel and how that would hurt your score.

Do not close, that will hurt your credit. Keep open and every so often charge a small Amount to keep them active so the company doesn’t automatically close them.

Do not close them! Keep them open and charge something once in a while. Closing them with adversely affect your credit. Keep the balance at/below 6% of the max.

Ok another tax refund question My husband and I have a pretty solid plan on what to do with our refund (if he ever gets his W2 ) He did mention wanting to switch it up a bit and instead of paying off all small debts (just under 2k spread across three accounts) paying off our large debt thats 6k at 22%.
