Depending on where you’re going and time you’re staying, I’ve found that Airbnb or VRBO are better options and far cheaper most times than a hotel room.

Priceline Express deals. If you don’t have a particular hotel in mind, you select your desired stars and general area and it’s significantly cheaper. I got an express hotel for $78 that was listed on Hotels for $150

We’ve always booked direct. The couple of times I thought one of the services would be a good deal, I’ve been hit with weird fees and no cancellation options.

I use hotels. com. They have the most flexible cancellation policy that I've dealt with.

PLEASE. BOOK DIRECT. easier cancellations, better service if you find a better deal online, call the property and say you found that price, more than likely they will honor it.

I'm gonna go with everyone else saying to book direct. Once booked online and when we arrived they let us know next time to call in directly because it would have saved us a lot of money.

After having a trip cancelled due to covid I would recommend book with the hotel directly. Booking. com was a nightmare, air bnb was great but they are talking about how this might be the end of them. If nothing else drastically reduce options.

Thank you all! hopefully 130 a night ($260 for a two night stay)for 4 adults and one teen is a good deal. Although they said the breakfast may not be served due to the virus.

@grubman62 That depends on where you are going but it’s about what we pay most places when we travel for dance and volleyball.

Airbnb, my husband just stayed in Cambridge Oh at an apartment we found on Airbnb and it was amazing, it was $32 a night and he was able to have 2 people stay with him so it was only about $11 for each person. They was there for 2 months. It was clean and the owner was very nice and handled everything for us.
