Question

Question: We’re going on a cruise later this year, is the drink package with carnival worth it? I don’t really drink but my husband does.

Yes we both have to have it. And I plan on taking a bottle of wine for me. But he drinks crown and coke. And I’ll maybe have one “fruity” drink a day. So I was thinking of taking the 12 packs of sodas we can take and then try to figure out a way to sneak on his whiskey ‍♀️. It’s $491 for the both of us  I can’t see spending that much of us to maybe have handful of drinks each for the entire week.

I worked in a pharmacy and made labels to put on large liquid prescription bottles. Worked for sneaking in our liquor.

Yes- get it for him and pay for any you might have. I would literally take two sips of my husbands but he got his money’s worth. I bought like 3 drinks the whole time so it wouldn’t have been worth it for me

You both have to buy the package if one or the other wants it. You can’t buy one for one person. It’s only good for their drinks if you want just beer or simple drinks but any specialty is out of pocket and you still have to pay gratuity.

I was told you can bring a bottle on board. look up the alcohol rules for your boat you are on. some are a bottle allowed on per person

I got a bottle of Bacardi they sell and I brought 2 bottles of wine, then I just brought drinks - we like to drink but its too much. were more drink on the balcony people!

We’ve split it in the past. But one person is always getting the drinks
