Has anybody used an ENT for infant/toddler to get tubes put in? We are on attempt #3 in 6 weeks to clear the ears up and if that doesn't work our ped said it really doesn't look good (ears are BAD just days after ending a round of a pretty good antibiotic) and she wants us to think about getting tubes in. I hate to think of that when she's just 10mo old, but want to do my research now. The ped didn't sound too optimistic that this round would work, more so said we had to try one last time before going down the ENT road, but she thought that's likely where we will be another week or so from now. I'm mainly just worried about making sure the ENT specifically has lots of experience with little ones since sh is t even a year old.

My son has had 3 sets of ear tubes. I can’t praise tubes enough! No ear infections since! Dr. Katherine Hamming is phenomenal; she’s a pediatric ENT. One of her offices is in Niles. Highly recommend her.

I've never had these issues with my kids but have heard chiropractors can help

I am fairly convinced going regularly to a chiro is helping prevent ear infections in my youngest. My first had tubes but I didn’t go regularly with him ‍♀️

My son had tubes put in before his first birthday because of chronic infections. They fell out before his second birthday. But then we heard about chiropractors and started going regularly that first year. No more ear infections. Now any time he starts getting fluid we take him in and it drains his ears within a few days! Its been amazing for us!

Dr Lygizos with suburban ear nose and throats is amazing with kids and a ultra with dementia. He’s a very kind and comforting man. My 11 year old has had tube in 5 times. He also did hers and my tonsils and treated my mom when she had throat cancer. My daughter went through the same as yours and got her first set in at 12 months old.

Tubes in at 7 months. Best decision ever. It’s like 11 minutes in the OR. So not invasive and better than all those abx on the gut constantly.
