More questions popping into my head. When I ran my first ad (without reading anything prior, which is what I always do) I instinctively chose “Conversion” for my objective, since that’s what I wanted. Money. I didn’t want a bunch of traffic or leads or engagement, just money. It worked for a while with 5 - 8X ROAS but recently its all died down and I’ve been switching to “Traffic” for a few of my ads, especially video ads to see the difference. Questions: 1. ) Should I be running traffic ads instead just to get the TOFU filled first or is there any other recommendations? Are conversions objectives bad if you’ve only got 3 - 4 conversions per day? 2. ) How does Facebook treat the different objectives when it comes to placement? I can’t for my life figure out how it could differ very much but I’m sure it does. 3. ) How does audience size determine objective and vice versa? Is it better with a tighter audience for conversions and a broader one for traffic? 4. ) Unrelated question. My product when photographed contains a lot of text naturally. Sometimes Facebook will inform me that my ad is not performing well due to this. Should I be worried? I can’t exactly change my product (only choose styling images taken from a distance as an alternative)
