Sup @awestricken. I'd treat an upsell as an add to cart, then do all products as a purchase once fully paid.

@braggart sup bro, long time, hope life is well. Thats a good idea, but its after the initial purchase, using a crm and the one-click just uses the same payment method as initial. Plus, gotta think about drop offs on first upsell after first purchase.

Ideally with that personally I'd like it all to be rolled into a single purchase on FB's end. since I assume the upsell is directly after purchase. I don't know if its possible, but I'd want to add a product to the initial purchase upon an immediate upsell, since its pretty much one order. Not sure if you can edit an order with the pixel, but server side events have order consolidation, so may be able to do it there. Others who do this stuff might be able to assist more. If there's a couple days between initial purchase and upsells, I'd count those as seperate orders and run those in a separate campaign, so those can be tracked separately. as order values will be lower so you need to measure ROI separately selling to people who haven't purchased yet vs people who bought before, then you sent ads to and then bought an upsell. Also if you're running catalog sales, Facebook does do "upsells" where they allow you to advertise one product catalog to a person who purchased from another product catalog. So logically internally Facebook can think in those terms. Something you may want to setup on your end as well if you haven't.

@braggart ah, good looks. maybe i should just run with the catalog idea. wrapping up into 1 purchase, logistically, might be more trouble than its worth. thanks for the ideas bro, appreciate it.

@awestricken BTW, it's set as same catalog, but different product sets. Was using wrong terms
