Interesting how video guys post photos or these color things when they are putting the bait questions out there to try and get new clients. Interesting because they like to say videos are best, so you should hire them, yet when they need something to post in a group they don’t post a video to get that bait out there they post this color changing background stuff from Facebook and a simple engagement question.

You are my friend on this. i want to vomit for most of the engagement questions in a lot of group just to get attention. If i want to get the highest engagement, i would be jus freaking posting everyday "i need copywriter, i need videographer, i need designer" would blow everybody with engagement and personal messages. It;'s like waving bones to crowd of hungry dogs. and everybody acts really nice. sorry but this just bursted :) i.

VID for tof if the product needs an explanation of how it works. Pic for MOF, but also using the same TOF VID with HEAVY CTA and FOMO ad copy (make it diff to tof copy) works really well.

@kanzu20 what's FOMO?
by (1.6k points)
@maure40 fear of missing out. Urgency copy :)

Test both in most cases Here’s a little framework to follow Test 2x Video, 1 Still Image (lifestyle or product on white, lifestyle works better), and carousel in each of your ad sets to establish which works best and then double down on what works Video ideas can be short explainer videos transitioning from cinematic clips with text overlay explaining the product benefits etc.

No rules of thump but videos are more valuable as they generate useful insights for targeting later down the track and also more engaging

In my experience, video converts better. Budget reaches more number of people compared to photos only.

Videos for top funnel ads and images for bottom funnel ads. - Videos are cheap and great for retargeting + LLA. - Images better convert.

Depends on product and quality of both. Simply Test to find out.

When everyone in your industry is using videos, the cost to reach your selected audience is increasing because you all use the same mean of promotion, so if you are using images when most are using video ads you tend to get a lower cpm. But if you are in ecomerce stick with video ads.

Video gets more conversion. Stick with numbers

For me video gets more likes and comments but images gets much more conversions for site traffic.
