Any idea why on my custom audience "visitors last 7 days", facebook tells me the audience is smaller than 1000 even though I had 3500+ people coming on my website from Facebook ads ?

Do you have GA installed on your website? If yes, then recheck the stats there. I remember facing this issue, then I realized that the sessions were more than 1000 however users were less than 1000

Haha alright, might be an issue with your pixel configuration, check that out and make sure it's configured right.

If you’re sending people to a specific landing page, plug that in. That should filter the audience size and wait at least 24-48 hours to populate.

Just because they visit your website, doesn't mean fb will match them as a user. Not everyone will have a profile, some of it is bot traffic etc.

If you’re running ads in France, don’t forget about GDPR. Facebook gave people the option to opt out of pixel tracking, and so in Europe, we have less people to remarket to, as a lot of people opted out of pixel tracking
