Are you allowed to put as much text on a picture of an ad you want now? Yesterday seen a few ads that 80-90% was text overlay on graphic image.

Best answer
Yes, but violating the old 20% rule causes your ad to be displayed less. Or so I’ve heard. I rarely include anything but a logo or web address in my FB ad photos. Let the text of the ad do your heavy lifting.

They’ve always let me run ads with more text it just put a flag on it to say it may not deliver or perform as well
