How can I have 97 link clicks on day 1 but only 8 page views on the pixel? My google analytics show something different.

Because a link click is what it is, a click on a link. A page view is when you’re landing page basically loads to 100%. You’re losing people between the click and page view at a pretty alarming rate

It could be that your page loads for so long in the FB app that people close it before pixel has loaded. Especially if you use templates and upload huge images and videos this can happen.

What about your cookies? G. A. tracks everything. Your pixel only tracks when cookies are accepted.

GA and FB will never match so don’t stress about that. Where in your code is your pixel? It could be loaded after other resources on the page and causing this issue. It shouldn’t be that huge of a difference.

@monometallism oh I mean, in the head, body etc of the code. Install the FB pixel helper plugin in Chrome. See how long it takes to load.
