Question

I'm trying to run ads for a mortgage professional in French speaking Canada. The ads keep on getting rejected. Facebook thinks that they're ads for dating services. We changed the copy multiple times, the picture too. We even created a new account. The ads still get rejected for that same reason. Anyone has a clue?

@loretaloretta76 the broker doesn't sell the lead. The broker acts on behalf of its client and shares information with lenders to get an approval. A broker doesn't sell the lead to the bank. Of course the broker makes a "commission, " but it's not an affiliate, because it acts on behalf of its client, not a lender.

There are also marketing agencies that do lead gen for special categories and sell them to brokers. That's a different area of marketing and I'm not familiar with it. It's usually those lawyer leads, debt leads, etc. You put in your address and then the marketing agency flips it over to a broker in the client's area.

If your location targeting doesn’t specifically exclude the USA, you’ll need to do that. Also in your location targeting you’ll need to select ‘people who live in this area’. If you are not targeting the USA you do not need to identify as a Special Ad Category; that is reserved exclusively for companies in and out of the USA in the credit, real estate and employment verticals who are running ads IN the USA.
