On Instagram? Are they influencers? Microinfluencers? Do they want free product in exchange for promoting it to their followers?

Most likely they want to sell you product and get a referral fee for doing so.

Be careful who take the title Ambassador. They could easily ruin you. If they never used or promoted your products for free, ask them WHY many many times.
