Question

Mixture of fake & real. hoping to grow a wisteria round the door. Any tips to keep it healthy?

Don’t fake flowers outside confuse the bees? And go mouldy?

@bubb6 . the Bees do get a little ditsy. but I do have real flowers and plants too to redeem myself. . I bring the fake indoors during winter. they've lasted well

Wisteria roots can damage foundations & buildings but they are beautiful

Do you really want a wisteria? As a gardener it's one of my worst nightmares. On a par with ivy! Gets into anything it can and hard to tame.

@roux8 very true, we have one and it’s a beast, good job it isn’t close to the house.

Patience I think? Doesn’t wisteria take 10+ years to grow to a decent size . You might be better with some clemetis’s
