Just painted all 30+ fence panels and the shed with Cuprinol. Brilliant paint with good coverage. Can splash a little as it’s very viscous and ‘gloopy’ so make sure you cover over any patio etc. Really pleased with the results!

@daub8102 looks gorgeous x
by (500 points)
What shade is that?
by (1k points)
@buckinghamshire This is Cuprinol Ducksback in black
by (850 points)
@daub8102 was only going to do my garden furniture till I seen your fence panels  I have a lot to do but your pic has made up my mind xz
by (1k points)
@oldfangled Looks like you have even more than me!  My advice is get yourself a fence roller, we got one from B&Q for about a fiver and it really sped up the process. We used a normal indoor paintbrush for the fiddly bits, we tried a big fence brush but it was rubbish! Happy painting, I’m sure it’ll look amazing

I used Ronseal on Saturday and had to go out and buy Cuprinol today as the Ronseal was awful. So watery. I used 15 litres to do about 11 panels of Ronseal. Used about 6 of cuprinol and done the 11 panels with another coat.
by (730 points)
I had done 4 of the panels with Ronseal 2 weeks ago. I watered the plants on the fence using a hose and the Ronseal paint was peeling off
by (510 points)
@spiritualism excuse me asking but where can you buy Ronseal in Tonbridge thanks in advance XxRose

I used the ronseal, i was nervous due to the reviews but it has come out lovely. It's just lighter, like a stain. You can still see the wood grain through it. I love it!

Water based paint washes of in rain over time. Oil based is best as it soaks into the wood and stay's longer.
by (470 points)
@minica any oil based paints you would recommend?

Cuprinol all the way but get both coats on within 8 hours as the wax sets and then the paint will bead like rain water off of your freshly waxed car.
