I was so fed up with my concrete patio, and don’t have the patience to stencil, unable to pave. so instead I taped it up! It’s not totally finished but I think it’s pretty funky. what do you think? It will cost about £40 to complete the whole area.

Omg thank you! You have just given me the best idea to give the kids bit of the garden some colour! Yours looks amazing! Im going to do the same sort of thing but get some different colours and do that for them  xx

@calk2490 thank you! That’s very sweet! It was a quick fix! The kids will love it! I taped and painted it twice in about 6/7hours  x

@peatroy you're a gem thank you will get hunting on some paints now lol! They have the grassed area but next to that we have a concrete area where a green house used to sit. Its very bland and boring so I think this would really brighten it up and look modern at the same time  excellent idea yours looks so good! Watch mine turn out all to shit and have all the colours running into 1 and just have a huge blob of colour on there lol xx

@calk2490 ahh that’s awesome! Make sure you post it! I’d love to see. It won’t, honestly, make sure you use good tape and leave it down longer than expected! I’ve only just lifted mine after a day or two of rain. I can see one mistake already but it’s a simple fix.

@peatroy thank you so much for the tips I'll definitely look into some good tape! I'll definitely do some pics  xx
by (820 points)
@calk2490 I bought this from Tool Station. It’s like £3. 50 for 50m. Everywhere else it’s more!

@peatroy fab thank you so much I was just looking and some are very expensive just for tape lol xx

@calk2490 I didn’t want to go to more than one shop but I had to in the end. I can’t wait to see it! Xx

This! It’s cheaper at tool station then anywhere! In fact the Range was twice the price. Yeah, it’s waterproof. So I stuck it down, stamped on it and then started. It’s been on for a day or so through the rain and I’ve only just taken it up. Still really sticky

Do you varnish when finished?
by (820 points)
@syringe883 Thomas Yes, I’m going to put a patio sealer on it.
