This might be a very stupid Q. I have 11 of 600 x 600 slabs and 10 of 450 x 450 slabs. I want to get cement and make a little patio for my chairs and table that won't wobble, like they would on the gravel. Has anyone done this or similar with mixed slabs? Any ideas would be much appreciated. I'm even dreaming about this but no epiphany so far

This was just playing about with what slabs and quarry tiles I already have . I’m just going to put sharp sand under them as a temp measure . I’m planning on painting them and stencilling a few of the quarry tiles

This area is gonna have a roof and be quite busy with a table and bench so not interested in paying too much attention to the floor to be honest .

3x600 slabs is the same length as 4x450 slabs. It will be quite small, but if you alternate rows. 6s, 4s, 6s, 4s, 6s you’ll have a rectangular patio 1800x2700.

If you wanted to be artistic and have a ‘jagged edge’ you could put the extra slabs down the side like this:

That's exactly what I was trying to get to  thank you! X

@unpin6403 you’re gonna need 1 extra 600x600 to get to that.
