@vaughan ground elder? Help!
by (700 points)
@independence salt will make the soil oh highly alkaline for a long time. So if your wanting to grow flowers there don't use it. It'll kill everything you put it on.

What @tovatovar9075 said. Roseate. Farmers use it. U can get on ebay. Be careful handling it and u must get the mix right
by (410 points)
I use Roseate once a year. On tarmac edges and chick weeds that have landed on plum slate chippings. Applied on dry day make sure it isn't going to rain after a few days you will see results.

Rock salt
by (370 points)
@neri54561 how
by (1.5k points)
Vera. Spread salt on the area. Sit back and wait. Kills anything. Back in medieval times they would “salt the land” of conquered villages or towns to kill all the crops.

Do not use pesticides such as Roundup unless you want to eat toxic, cancer causing chemicals in your food that you grow. There are so many other ways to control weeds and pests naturally. Google Natural Weed Killer and you will be amazed at the many differentthings you can use that wont poison the environment, you, and your family.

Just pull them out by hand, doesn’t take long and it’s a good bit of exercise. It’s not worth killing insects. I’d also recommend leaving them until after they’ve flowered so the bees can do their thing. When you’re considering using chemicals, even if you don’t care about insects, consider how they could harm the animals that eat the insects and live in your garden.
