It does look good as it is but you can get the glass replaced from any local glass cutter. Ask for the shatterproof glass like what they use on cars.

Get a piece of safety glass cut or cut a piece of MDF to fit on top and tile it.

Long lengths of wooden pallets on the top mark all around the bottom with a black pen then cut so u have a round shape then varnish

Find someone to fit a piece of perspex to the table. Then at your leisure keep putting out of circulation bank notes and coins in between perspex and table
