Has anyone used outdoor xmas/fairy lights in there gardens? I'm fed up with my solar lights as they are terrible.

I've just added these copper wire lights to the trees in my garden they are solar powered but also have a back up battery x

@colecolectomy86624 can you tell me where you got your lights from please. Would like some for a tree at bottom of my garden. They look great

@saturniid I bought them from Studio online they were £8. 99 and I used 2 sets for the 4 trees x

@wotton196 I have two sets one works perfect, one doesnt come in half the time and only half the lights work only had them around a month xx

Yeah my husband is putting me some white xmas lights in the garden tomorrow just round the patio area. I hate solar, not enough sun to keep them going and they never last.

We have some outdoor christmas lights I have plugged into the conservatory. we have them coming out and onto the patio area. They are so much better than solar

I've had electric ones outside for 2 years they go along my long fence , twice round the inside of my gazebo and twice round the outside of gazebo, and it's just 1 set lol, multifunction but coloured, I wish they were white but got given for free

Yep, decided to use my Christmas lights outside a couple of years ago and they haven’t moved since. had to buy new ones for Christmas! I also have solar ones but it’s nice to know on the cloudy days and the solar ones aren’t so bright that I still have my other ones. I ring the changes and put them on ‘twinkle’ at Christmasxx

My garden is dark due to trees I've put solor lights out and obviously they don't get enough sun for long enough to work for long on a night. I will be looking for battery ones x

Yes bought a set local then bought a set off Ebay video is of bar were working on but ceiling lights are fairy lights and 2 disco lights xx

Lights 4 fun, mains operated on a timer switch come on every night 2-3 hrs in summer and 6-7 hrs in winter had them for about 10yrs well worth the extra money.

Yes. I put switch in a plastic sandwich bag and switch on and off when needed.
