As soon as it starts flowering, get rid of the leaves to keep it going. It’s a perennial, so even if you cut all the stems back, it’ll grow back every year. That one’s a lovely delicate colour.

I had mine for ages before someone told me! Having said that, it has worked for me every year since then - until this year, when I’ve had not one single flippin’ flower!

I have hellibores in the garden and had 7 cats over the years. 5 of the cats lived till they were 19 . The other 2 are now 3 years old. I have 4 or 5 hellebores
