Composite all the way. With timber you will have to wash it and seal it every year and by doing that you will have to replace it with in 6 years. Composite is probably 3 times the price but so much easier to maintain and will last 4 times as long

Composite is so hard wearing and doesn’t need much work however not easy to change if you fancy something different for example a little paint job

Composite all the way. More costly but no maintenance, rotting or shrinkage.

Composite 10-20 year guarantee, very low maintenance (pressure wash only), will not rot. Very easy to lay - clip systems create a very neat finish. Only issue is it’s much more expensive. We went composite.

Can anyone give me any advice on how to fix my canopy (no idea if it has a real name ) it’s clearly seen better days and I have no issue with sanding it down to repaint but I think it’s just normal timber and I think one of its feet could do with been replaced.
