Could anyone tell me what type of clematis I have please? Got it from a horticultural auction about 3 years ago and it's never flowered so struggling to find any info about it online. Thanks in advance x x

Youll have to wait till it flowers, its in bud I think

@outlook it will survive in the ground is it a small pot or a big pot its got flower buds on it now if you havnt been feeding it feed it now them flowers will open

Erm it's probably a medium sized pot I think. I think I have some plant food so will try that thank you x x

You have a few buds, that will make it easier to identify when they open.

There are flower buds on it. Check when it should be pruned. They like there feet in the cold and head in the sun.

If it flowers before June don't prune if it flowers after cut right back early spring

There’s apps to identify plants, it uses camera on phone scans plant and then tell you what it is. Try plant snap or picture this

Cut them diseased looking leaves off it it looks like a fungus disease if it rains it will spread it about more by the water droplets always water the soil only never over the leaves

Feed it then put a picture back up on here when its in flower then one of us might know its name you need the name of it to find out which pruning group its in theres 3 completely different ways of pruning them depending on which group it is in is it in Group 1 Group 2 or Group 3

You can feed them clematis feed or rose food blood fish & bone stick to the dose what ever it says on the box
