Pound land Roses, I bought some for 1. 99 each. Potted and fed them, I'm wondering if I've bought ones that are dead. What do you think?

Mine have always been ok from there. Maybe feed them and see if anything happens. I'd say scrape a bit of the stem and see if it's green underneath but not sure if that works with roses.

Can I ask how long it took for you to see signs of life after you planted them?

If you buy @anastase plants from Pound land then put them in water for a few days then plant them. Bare rooted roses usually do well with this method.

@anastase yes I did soak them first, any idea how long they take to show life?

@cartulary a few weeks and they should get some buds. Good luck

It is still very early in the year, everyone has been fooled by the sunshine, and the poor things have had a shock, uprooted, passed around, hot , cold, hot again, just give them blood fish and bone or well rotted horse manure, loads of water and some time! do not give up till this time next year, with no growth in the meantime

Don’t ever let any rose dry out. They thrive in a clay type soil. I would wait and see, but don’t look healthy.
