I also asked my landlord if he’d be comfortable with me putting up some hanging basket brackets. He was fine with it so hoping to get them up in a few weeks. Will make all the difference, especially round the front. X

People saying it’s a lot of money to pay for a house that’s not yours. some can’t afford to buy, and this is their way of finding serenity in their space. If they want to spend money on their garden, so what. They’ll be enjoying it

so reassuring hearing someone else say this, that’s why I asked the question. My Garden was an absolute Mess when we moved in and now it’s getting to the summer my children and me are spending more time in the garden, I want it to look nice. I’d love to buy but at this moment in time I’m not in a position and I won’t be for years yet as I’m having a change of career so back to school xx

The first little project we did after 6 months. But the grass never grew because of so much shade being surrounded by trees

Trees cut down and levelled to utilise more space (it's only a small garden due to an extension eating most of it. It's taken us almost a year to get it to this completed stage now.

I rented this house when my husband died ( I couldn’t afford the one we lived in ) I’ve been here 9 years and my landlords have said they will be selling up in about 5 years, I dread to think how I’m going to move all my garden stuff
