Fence should not be more than 6 ft including. Trellis

@isosceles. If its your fence you can add trellis, if not you can't. I'd not worry as long as you have shorts on

Blinds shut all the time would by dingy, try trellis or frosted fablon on the windows x

Don’t fancy a blind as it would make the north facing kitchen seem darker than it actually is. Trellis seems to be the answer  now to look at old posts on here

I was going to suggest frosted fablon window cover you'll still keep the light otherwise not to everyone's taste but budleigha they grow tall& attract

Also nothimg which loses its leaves. Either Ivy or Grapevine. Jasmine I put up only screens and thinly 6 months of the year.
