Has anyone moved a garden shed? We want to use the area the shed is on as it’s the sunny spot in the garden, but there’s nothing wrong with the shed, so wondered is it feasible to move it? Any tips

About 4 pieces of drain pipe or similar and roll it. That’s how i moved mine, fairly easy with a couple of people

If it’s a wooden one you should be able to take part and put back together or if it’s not too big and lift and move it if you’ve strong hands to help

We’ve just moved ours for the same reason, we’ve put a greenhouse in the sunny bit. We took ours apart and moved the base then put it back together. Did it in an afternoon with just 2 of us, it’s a standard 8 by 6 shed x

We moved mine two years ago, and I'll be honest, it's a mess now. Don't get me wrong, it's much more heavily used than your average shed as it houses all my work equipment so I'm in it regularly throughout the year, but whenever you rebuild a wooden structure it never seems to go back up the same way it came down as wood expands and shrinks over time. I'm gonna need a new one in a year or two, and as it's an 8 x 10 shed that isn't gonna be cheap. It's a good job it's saved me so much room in the garden or it wouldn't have been worth it!

Just had ours moved last week and it was 17 years old and survived the move x
