Best answer
It’s almost as simple as breaking a branch of and sticking it in the ground. Just make sure to dead heads

you can prune it once the frost has passed. Use the cuttings from this. But really it’s very easy and most cuttings will take

I think I would leave it till next year. Unless you have loads of stems in which case go ahead. Best time for cuttings is after it flowers but also when it reshoots. So if you have a few stems them snip of a couple and repot this bits or plant out . Always make sure you dead head as soon as flowers turn grey. They make excellent dried flowers as well. But hang upside down before bring in.

Yes you can! I have taken them in the summer months and been successful. I literally cut a stem off, put it in a glass of water and when the roots have grown, plant it in a pot! I’ve done lots like this and they have all worked. I don’t think it would if you did it at this time of year though. X

We've got quite a few from cuttings. Just broken bits off other bushes and put them in a pot and then grown them on in the garden

I've shamefully had this sat in water for atleast 6 month, I haven't had the chance to pot up yet so keep refreshing the water. But u can see the new green leaves coming through, I've also got some garden mums, carnation and roses rooting too
