Newbie seed grower - when the seeds have sprouted in the propagator, when can you take the seed tray out? Can still be kept inside but I'm wanting to swop new seeds in different trays into the propagator. Have had a few stringy ones so they will likely be axed but some coming up nice and strong

Once the seedlings have one pair of true leaves, you pot them on into individual small pots of their own, then your propagator tray is free to start more seeds. Use the pointed end of a pencil and hold by the leaves and not the stem. But do wait till they look relatively strong, or you'll lose them. Obviously you still need to keep the seedlings inside then harden them off when the soil has warmed up.
