I have some sunflower seeds that I wanted to sow with my daughters but I'm running out of compost to plant them all. I do however have loads of top soil from doing my garden. Can I mix top soil with the Compost and still get good growth, if so, what ratio would be ok? My soil is very clay like! I'm hoping that by the time they need repotting I will have got my hands on some compost!
