now't wrong with that! We still have family and friends in Newcastle, we usually stay with them a couple of times a year, planned around a match or two at SJP and a bit of primark shopping for me and metro centre exploration with a Wetherspoons pit stop along the way. living our best lives!

yeah, my sentiment exactly! They live in Fenham and Kenton, we usually go and stay two to three times a year but haven't managed it this year. Missing my Geordie fix!

Put horticultural grit around base of the plants. It's too rough for them to get over. I used to get loads of slugs eating my hosta but haven't had a single 1 yet.

Slugs can lay eggs in the soil in plant pots, which makes it look like copper tape doesn't work, they're already on the inside.

So I want to grow some seeds but don’t fancy have loads of pots or trays around my house, so thinking of getting a grow table (don’t have a big enough garden for anything else) is it ok to grow seeds in this with a cover (like a greenhouse) or is it still too cold?
