Guys best plant shrubs and flowers to put in garden sleeper beds plz. I’m thinking dahlias, begonias etc but I really love hosta and I wonder would it be too over powering in size?

I always thought Hostas are better in pots to protect them a bit from slugs, they like the shade too

@karr9748 I did wonder that but I have seen people planting in a rockery etc I wonder is their a back to keeping them from being eaten

@alien unless you dig a hole big enough to put pot and all in ? So I can move it Iv seen a few people do that to ?

There are so many different Hostas. I have one called blue mouse ears which is realy small, patriot that is a medium size. Then there is the biggest one which is Called Emporess Wu, which I don't have space for, as it's enormous.
