Has anybody painted their garden fence black? I was looking at doing our fence black but was unsure of the finished look. If anybody has could I please see some photos before I go through with it

If you have a high presure water jet, clean your decking, you will see, it's amazing

Not black but dark grey - Urban slate from Cuprinol I believe, I love it! In the summer everything looks more vibrant on that background. Excuse the garden, it's work in progress :(

Black is fabulous as my plants stand out so much plus it give the illusion of a much bigger area. Also for those worrying about heat etc, black absorbs and doesn’t reflect so won’t harm the delicates xxx

Apparently black fences are great in the garden because they make the plants etc stand out in front of them. Saw it on an Alan Titchmarsh programme looked awesome

Black isn’t to everyone’s taste but can see why you’d paint fences to make flowers stand out more. Just make sure it doesn’t bleed through to your neighbours side as my neighbour did to my fence panels. Don’t want to sound down about it but you don’t want to fall out with next door.
