This may or may not be a stupid question. but can I use water from my condenser drier to water my plants or does it contain other “stuff” that isn’t good for them? Currently tipping it sown the drain but it suddenly occurred to me that I could be making use of it.

@murphey please dont feed your plants the water you've bathed in. They'll definitely die

You cheeky monkey!

@murphey I've used bath water and even unplumbed my washing machine after 1st rinse and used that water on garden plants and all survived.

Most of the drawers have a picture of flowers on it to indicate you can use it for this. Then they have a picture of a cup but with a cross through it to say do not drink.

Wouldn't it have scent from washing? Maybe if you diluted it it would be ok.

I do it, never had any issues. spesh in summer, I have a tiny garden and rowdy, dirty boys so putting washing outside would mean more washing, so use my dryer all year round. during hotter days it's great spesh when my plants are under my window. open window, empty container, happy plants, less waste water

I now keep bottles by the sink to fill when running the tap to get hot water, fill bottles first, re use as needed, save water ☺
