Question

The concrete between my paving slabs in my garden has started to break up. Does anyone know why? And is it an easy fix? Can I just buy concrete and miss it up myself?

Just old by the looks this happens when the land moves aswell you can fix yourself with some cement x

I would fill with patio sand add water and leave to set

It's usually caused by movement in the paving. Relay the offending slabs and re point.

Rake it all out mixed a one to one sand and cement don't make it to wet just a buff water to get it to bond together and push it in with a peace of thin wood and the trowel smoth

Fill with cement mixed with sand then water it

I did mine with a bag of ready mixed postcrete. Brushed it in dry & lightly sprinkled with water. It's been in a year & is still good as new.

Romex much better than cement. No mess and easy to apply

Probably frost damage, is it well drained, or get a puddle when it rains?
