Can’t go wrong with trailing lobelia, bacopa, osteospermum, verbena, nasturtiums, pansys, fuchsias, petunias x

My top tips Put lots of plants in so it fills right up. Water every day either very early morning or in late evening. Mix in fertiliser with your compost. Dont put out till the end of may. The plants I like to use are diascias, double headed calibrochoa, bush lobelia, trailing lobelia, silver mist, bacopa, I find these give an absolutely fantastic show. Xx

This is how mine start out . I put the trailing lobelia in first in the bottoms then fill up the compost the the stuff in the tops. Dont be scared to get them pretty close to each other so they give you a full show. Xx

If you want something a little different from the usual , run of the mill , bedding plants you could try putting a few nasturtium seeds in a basket as soon as the last frosts are over , they will trail and hang down the sides nicely and don't need as much feeding as other plants . If you have a warm , sunny garden you could also try morning glories or Black eyed Susan .
