Hi all!  I bought my first bleeding heart root and its grown a lot (in the shop) .Hi all! I bought my first bleeding heart root and its grown a lot (in the shop) . should I plant it in the garden now it should I do in pot and keep in in? Please help

I would plant in a pot but keep inside for now. If frost gets to it it will be a gonna.

@dissuasive Very welcome. Mine has now been in the garden border coming up 3rd year & no sign of it yet. It does die back to nothing each year so you need to know where it is if not in a pot x

You need to harden it off now (put it outside every morning and bring it in every evening for a week), then plant it in a woodland spot (shady in summer), with lots and lots of compost. Add compost every year as a mulch. If it's a dry spring or summer, keep it watered. Mark the spot as they disappear for a while. Lovely plants. Enjoy it.
