Thanks both. Had it a few months and it was thriving now it's suddenly dying off. I'll try your recommendations. I live in Scotland so maybe it's the humidity that's the problem. I'll move it to my bathroom. Xx

@seducer I'm in the uk but I have a 4l humidifier running like 18 hours a day  Also try to water with rain water, we have plenty of that!

@buna82525 I had no idea they were so fussy lol! I'll get collecting rainwater though, that's easy to do! Thanks again

@seducer yeah calatheas are tropical and love humidity and rain water! Unfortunately all the pretty ones demand more attention

Mine did this when I it first came through the post. I cut off the dead leaves, repotted in soil/perlite and now it only has two leaves but those two are doing far better than any of the others I had to cut off  Its in a warm room at 52% humidity and its happy and bald
