Lots of options, trellis with climbers, small trees to break the view, mixed hedges or bamboo all good options.

how do you extend the posts please? If that's possible I'd love to do it at the bottom of my garden.

Kelly, you could also consider replacing just the relevant fence posts for longer ones if it's only a few ? New posts obviously more expensive and time consuming to fit, but might look neater :-)

Wow I had no idea - that's brilliant thanks! I'm renting and the fence isn't an issue it is more for me to be able to add some climbers it disguise the view of the factory beyond. Thanks again

Only if the original posts are deep enough. otherwise it will blow over. a 6 foot fence should have a post at least 2 foot down

Thankfully trellis doesn't offer as much wind resistance as solid panels, so I think they'll be ok

We cut a 4ft panel in half horizontally and added each piece on to the two existing 4ft panels. This also depends on what the existing supports poles are mad of.

I found it funny! Never apologise for a sense of humour; it's sadly lacking in this group sometimes!

If you don’t want or can’t plant in the ground buy fast growing shrubs and put in pots - surprising how tall and wide they get in a year x
