Best click fraud protect software? Clickcease, Wordstreams tool, ppc protect.? I don’t think Google really makes a HUGE effort to screen fraudulent clicks as much as people may think. Would really like an extra layer of protection on top of Google’s monitoring system.
Best click fraud protect software?

Hey @dumm10 - Happy to chat and answer any questions :). I'm one of the founders at PPC Protect, the only truly automated click fraud solution that utilizes advanced machine learning. The other tools you'll see out there all rely on exactly the same approach - setting custom rules and "blocking" that traffic. Problem is, that results in huge amounts of non-fraudulent traffic also being blocked. It's an extremely simplistic approach and, frankly, doesn't work. It's a bit like your credit card company asking you to set up your own rules for fraudulent payments - the fact is you don't know what constitutes fraud. That's why you're onboarding a tool that specialise in it! Would be great to give you a platform demo or learn more about your requirements - always happy to help.

@garotte Interesting! May integrate it to my agency. From my experience, one main issue all platforms have is dealing with IP pool, many bots using IP pool and google limit blocking to 500 addresses only. how do you guys handle IP pool blocking trough AI? When it switch from couples single IP blocking to the entire pool, and is your google API support modifying the blocking list on the user google account? Like removing single Ip’s belonging to a pool to keep availability under google 500 addresses limit. Thanks.

@holo6850 If there's multiple fraudulent IPs coming from the same pool/network, we can block the whole network range with a single entry in Google Ads (either via wildcards or CIDR notation). The system will then automatically determine how long this should be in place (for example, if the network is 100% fraud we could leave it in place indefinitely, if it is only 10% fraud we would remove the block after a short while if safe to do so). We use the official Google Ads API and are fully audited/verified Google Ads developers. That API connection changes the IP addresses in the IP exclusions list, which shows up in the change history as being associated with the account connected to PPC Protect.

I have used many, including all mentioned above, clickguard works the best, in my opinion, allowing you to set rules based on behavior, campaign, ad group, keyword, etc. I disagree with the above comment that, controlling with rules doesn't work. Although, I wouldn't recommend using any of them. I have seen this question almost more than any other. There are other safer more profitable ways of managing who clicks your ads. What makes you think you need fraud protection?

@dewain69562 just for our own improvement research I'm curious as to exactly what feature and value you found and liked in that platform vs. anything else on the market?
