Has anyone started phase 2 on the new program? I have been on phase 1 for 11 months, lost 70, would like to lose 30-50 more, but I’m struggling and think I need a break, plus I want to start cardio to build up endurance for a trip that is going to involve a lot of walking. My coach said I am not allowed to lose on phase 2. I don’t see why I can’t lose, just slower. I am exercising more and still eating protocol, just phase 2 protocol. It really bothers me that if I lose she wants me to increase my food. That makes me apprehensive about switching, but I feel like that is the right move, plus my trip is 3 weeks long and I want to eat maintenance during that time. Advice, thoughts?

I am on phase 2 now. I am still losing weight.

@chad8320 yes. she said a lot of folks keep losing in phase 2. There was a rep from IP HQ there at my last visit and she did not contradict. I don't see how anyone would not lose weight still if you eat lean protein. Esp. since protein serving size is now 4-6 oz vs 8.

When I did IP with a coach I was terrified to move into maintenance. She kept me on phase 2 until I was emotionally ready to move on. I am very comfortable in phase 2 and continued to lose at a much slower rate. I have never heard that we aren’t “allowed” to lose on phase 2?! ‍♀️. Maybe admin has more info on this.

@purebred thank you! That makes me feel much better. I have not been comfortable with this coach and feel like I have lost it in spite of her. To her this is her success, not mine. But I like the program.

Well and here’s another thought. how can you prevent yourself from loosing weight? If you follow protocol, your body is going to do what your body is going to do!

Phase 2 is just more lunch protein (at least on the old plan). You'll still dump weight.

If the first program worked for you; I’d stick with it.
